The primary goal of this project was to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of selected NGOs and informal groups in Armenia and to develop a tailored capacity-building plan to strengthen civil society organizations in the country. The assignment aimed to understand the specific challenges and gaps faced by these organizations and identify opportunities for growth and development. This involved detailed assessments, interviews, and surveys to gather insights into the operational, strategic, and resource needs of the selected NGOs and groups.
Based on the findings, the project team collaborated closely with GIZ and other stakeholders to develop a customized capacity-building plan. This plan included targeted training programs, strategic guidance, and resource recommendations to address the identified needs and enhance the effectiveness of civil society organizations. Through this collaborative approach, the project aimed to empower NGOs and informal groups, equipping them with the skills and tools needed to increase their impact and contribute more effectively to the development of civil society in Armenia.
