Financial Modeling for Establishment of Orchards

Financial Modeling for Establishment of Orchards

ACG team developed a comprehensive financial model to support the establishment of mixed orchards on 100 hectares in Armenia. The project focused on a variety of fruit crops, including cherries, nuts, apricots, peaches, apples, and berries. The financial model provided a detailed assessment of the capital investments required, covering expenses for infrastructure development and working capital needs. Designed with a long-term perspective, the projections span a 15-year period, demonstrating the project’s potential profitability and viability.

The model also considered the broader value chain effects, such as agro-processing, logistics, packaging, and export opportunities, to highlight additional revenue streams. By factoring in these downstream activities, the financial analysis emphasized the project’s ability to contribute significantly to the agricultural value chain in Armenia. This strategic approach not only demonstrated the direct profitability of the orchards but also showcased the positive impact on related industries, reinforcing the project's attractiveness for investors and stakeholders.
