Our team conducted a comprehensive feasibility study for creating an innovative agro-consulting platform tailored for farmers in Armenia. This study was part of the “Livestock Development in the South of Armenia” program, a joint initiative by the Strategic Development Agency NGO (SDA) and the Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU), with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The goal was to assess the potential for a digital platform that could provide farmers with valuable guidance, market insights, and practical solutions for improving agricultural practices.
Drawing from global best practices in software solutions for the agricultural sector, our study included an in-depth market analysis and a clear business model tailored to local needs. We delivered a detailed feasibility report, a strategic business model, and a roadmap outlining key steps for platform development. Additionally, we provided a list of necessary materials and resources to ensure the platform's success. Our recommendations aimed to create a user-friendly, resource-rich platform that empowers farmers with the knowledge and tools they need to enhance productivity and boost the agricultural sector in Armenia.
