ACG was engaged to streamline and automate the inventory process for the client, focusing on improving all related business workflows. The project began with an in-depth analysis of the existing inventory management procedures, encompassing activities such as purchasing, registering new assets, tracking asset movements, managing amortization, and conducting regular inventory checks. This analysis led to the development of a standardized asset registration form and the design of updated business processes, along with detailed internal regulations for inventory management.
For the automation phase, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology was implemented to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of inventory control. This process involved classifying assets, programming RFID chips, integrating asset information into a centralized database, and connecting this database with the client’s accounting system for seamless data flow. To ensure a smooth transition, the team also conducted training sessions for the client's staff, focusing on the new processes and the use of inventory management hardware and software. These efforts collectively enabled a more efficient and reliable inventory management system, reducing manual errors and improving overall process efficiency.
