On April 30, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) conducted a workshop as part of the “Climate Promise Armenia - From Pledge to Impact” project. The session focused on the implementation prospects of the Long Term Low Greenhouse Gas Emissions Development Strategies (LT-LEDS), approved by the Armenian Government in December 2023.

 

Experts from Avenue Consulting Group and Sky Net presented preliminary findings on the socio-economic and environmental impacts of the strategy. They outlined their ongoing work, which includes developing an econometric model to assess the implications of the strategy’s measures both short-term and long-term. Participants engaged in discussions, raising questions about the project's future activities.
