Among the lesser-known but highly impactful technologies driving efficiency is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). In an interview, Karen Martirosyan, shareholder of Avenue Consulting Group, and Arsen Abrahamyan, Director of Liga-Tech, discussed the potential of RFID in improving Armenian business operations.

 

Martirosyan emphasized that RFID technology offers far more than just a replacement for barcodes. It provides advanced solutions applicable to retail (e.g., anti-theft systems), logistics, and even vehicle identification. The use of RFID extends beyond business, enhancing public life with applications like "smart footballs" in the ongoing World Cup, which allow for precise tracking of the ball’s location.
