From 16–26 September 2025, Avenue Consulting Group had the pleasure of hosting international logistics hubs management specialist Antonio Sartorius in Armenia as part of CAFSEP Logistics Hubs Feasibility Study. With over 25 years of experience leading wholesale market and agro-logistics projects across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, Antonio brought his global expertise directly into the field during this mission.
Over the course of ten days, he visited both Shirak and Tavush marzes, including Gyumri Breeding Station, and held discussions with farmers and producers to gain deeper insights into local production potential. In Yerevan, he met with representatives of major supermarket chains to better understand Armenia’s retail market dynamics and logistics challenges. His mission also featured a high-level meeting with Deputy Minister of Economy, Mr. Arman Khojoyan, to explore strategies for establishing modern, climate-resilient logistics hubs that can enhance value chain linkages and strengthen national food security.
Antonio’s visit marks an important step in adapting international best practices to Armenia’s local context, ensuring that upcoming logistics hubs will serve as sustainable bridges between producers, retailers, and consumers.
