To bring the most straightforward example is that while producing energy there is a need for water and producing freshwater certainly uses large amounts of energy. Nowadays, worldwide, power producers are looking for ways for efficient use of water, and at the same time water and wastewater utilities are alert to approach the ways to reduce energy use. Armenia has already recognized the importance and benefits of the joint water and energy resource management.
