Adaptation Plan for Vayots Dzor in the Framework of Climate Change

The main objective of the Assignment is to prepare the adaptation policy framework and action plan for Vayots Dzor region of Armenia (pilot region), based on comprehensive vulnerability assessment of different sectors and adaptation measures elaborated for Armenia’s TNC. The overall goal of the assignment is to maintain and strengthen the capacities of the region for ensuring effective response to climate change adverse impacts according to the country development priorities. The Consultant is responsible for preparation of the adaptation action plan to climate change in Vayots Dzor region of Armenia (pilot region) under current climate vulnerability and forecasted climate change scenarios. The adaptation plan has to be developed based on vulnerability assessment of the different sectors and ecosystems, current marz development plan, social problems.
