Financial Modeling for Establishment of Orchards

Within the framework of this project the Consultant implemented financial modeling for establishment of mixed orchards on 100 hectares in Armenia. The financial model was developed for mixed orchards, including cherry, nuts, apricot, peach, apple and berries. The financial model considers capital investments, investments in infrastructure and working capital. Projections were made for 15 year period and prove that the project is profitable. The financial modeling takes into account also value chain effects, such as agro-processing, logistics, packaging, exports and etc. It is envisaged that the project will have significant value chain effects.
