Discussion with Justice Sector Representatives
On June 25, a seminar on “Institutional System Procedures, IT Solutions and Forms Development, Publication of Modernized Judicial Statistics” was held at the RA Ministry of Justice.
The project consultant presented to the staff of the Ministry of Justice and the Judicial Department the preliminary version of the electronic database of statistical data. The system implemented under the World Bank program contains statistical information on the State Register of Legal Entities, civil registry records, judicial system and enforcement of judicial acts.
According to RA Deputy Justice Minister Aram Orbelyan, the electronic database will be a unique tool for summarizing and analyzing the collected data.
Georgy Khachatryan, Head of the Working Group on Creating an Electronic System, presented the stages of the system development, that they first developed the statistical criteria, the methodology of their analysis, and then created an electronic database. The Working Group has examined international experience, possible models of the electronic database and made a package of proposals, and after the system has been tested, the database will be available to the public as well.
Information, with the exception of personal data, will automatically be collected from existing and future electronic systems.
